If you decide to use a rent recovery service, it’s important to fully understand the terms and conditions of their service! Get a clear idea of their fees, and ensure it’s written in writing.
Many debt/rent recovery services offer a ‘No win, no fee’ service, so if you decide to use one of them, get a clear definition of what a ‘win’ means. Generally speaking, if they achieve a ‘win’ it will cost more than if you were to use an ‘pay upfront’ service (that also achieves a ‘win’), so that’s something to bear in mind.
